General Production Labor 1st Shift (August) Carthage, MS

Pay: $17.45 per hour

About the role

This position is responsible for entry-level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This position could work in any area of the Fresh Processing including the DSI, Debone, Deli lines, and Evisceration.

Responsibilities

• Push, pull, carry, and/or lift up to 50 pounds
• Work in damp, cold, or hot environments
• Reach above shoulder level
• Stand 8-10 hours a day on hard surfaces
• Perform repetitive motion
• Climb up and down stairs to get to and from work areas
• Wear PPE, frocks, gloves, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net, and beard guard
• Use a knife, scissors, saws, or skinner machines to bone, trim, or process product

Requirements

• Provide government identification number for Tyson employment history verification
• Applicants with 3 or more prior employments at Tyson Foods are not eligible for rehire
• Complete additional application tasks for hourly positions
