General Production - 1st Shift
About the Role
The General Production role is responsible for preparing, packaging, and inspecting cheese products in a fast-paced environment. Associates will be assigned a department upon hire (e.g., dice/shred, aged, vacuum packing, salting, peeling packaging, or tying product). The position maintains sanitation standards, ensures proper labeling and coding, identifies product or equipment issues, and provides support across the department as needed.

Requirements
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Three (3) months or more of related work experience and/or training in a food manufacturing industry strongly preferred
Physical Demands and Work Conditions
- Regularly lift and move objects weighing between 20–50 lbs
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, and climbing
- Exposure to vibration
- Work environment may involve exposure to extreme temperatures (both hot and cold), high humidity, and loud machinery
Schedule
- Shifts Available: 4:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Monday – Saturday with two rotating days off
- Overtime may be required based on business needs
Pay
- Starting at $22.89/hour
- Pay Premiums: $3.00 per hour for night shift hours (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
- $2.25 per hour for weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday)
- Earn up to $1,500 in bonus pay during your first year
