Description of the Role
As a General Motors Certified Technician at Henderson Chevrolet, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic and repair tasks on General Motors vehicles. This includes identifying and addressing mechanical and electrical issues, conducting inspections, and utilizing specialized tools and equipment. You will collaborate with other team members to efficiently and effectively diagnose and resolve automotive problems, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the highest level of quality workmanship.Responsibilities
- Performing diagnostic tests and addressing mechanical and electrical issues on General Motors vehicles
- Conducting inspections, identifying necessary repairs, and providing accurate time and cost estimates
- Utilizing specialized tools, equipment, and technology to effectively diagnose and resolve automotive problems
- Collaborating with other technicians and team members to prioritize and complete repairs in a timely manner
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest automotive industry trends, technologies, and best practices
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area, following safety guidelines and protocols
Requirements
- Valid General Motors certification
- Proven experience as an automotive technician, preferably with a focus on General Motors vehicles
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Ability to accurately diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Proficient in using specialized tools, equipment, and diagnostic technology
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license
