Starting pay range: $20.50 – $22.50 per hour. Full pay range: $20.50 – $34.85 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.

Responsibilities
- Consistently deliver a guest experience that is easy, inspiring, and friendly
- Ensure team members understand and deliver on Target’s guest experience commitments and operational standards
- Provide feedback, hold team members accountable, and recognize great guest experiences
- Review guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities and drive results
- Lead daily/weekly workload execution to meet department and store sales goals, including receiving products, merchandising, signing, restocking, and updating sales floor displays
- Educate the team on operational procedures and their impact on inventory management and profitability
- Assess reporting to identify gaps in GM processes and assist in developing resolution plans
- Assign tasks based on workload and guest traffic patterns, aligning with business priorities
- Help establish clear goals and expectations, holding team members accountable
- Lead pick, pack, and ship fulfillment work accurately (if applicable) and assess reporting to identify gaps
- Ensure product is in stock, available, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor while prioritizing guest experience
- Collaborate with teams to ensure the store is guest-ready
- Stay informed about trends and products to educate team members
- Evaluate candidates for open positions and develop a guest-centric team
- Model best practices for onboarding, learning, and closing skill gaps through coaching
- Support guest services, including back-up cashier and digital fulfillment, while maintaining compliance
- Demonstrate inclusivity, ethical conduct, and adherence to safety procedures
- Lead and model a safety culture, identifying and correcting hazards
- Support merchandise protection strategies and follow security processes
- Occasionally assume store-level leadership on duty (LOD) responsibilities
- Address all store emergency and compliance needs
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Age 18 or older
- Previous retail experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lead and hold others accountable
- Effective communication skills and experience using handheld scanners and technology equipment
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues
- Interpret instructions, reports, and information accurately
- Handle cash register operations as needed
- Climb ladders and scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely
- Frequently lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds without assistance
- Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays; reliable and prompt attendance
- Capable of working in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary)
This is a full-time role, but hours may fluctuate based on business needs and are not guaranteed at 40 hours per week.
