General Merchandise Clerk Evenings and Weekends

About the role

As a Stocking Clerk you will play a critical role in keeping the store running smoothly by ensuring shelves are fully stocked, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and providing friendly interactions with customers when needed. This entry‑level position offers exposure to a variety of retail tasks related to product handling, customer service, and merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back‑room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Ability to follow processes and procedures in an organized, efficient way.
• Stay calm and productive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Enjoy being part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, bend, twist, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.

Schedule
