About the role
The Site General Manager oversees a designated travel center, responsible for coaching and leading the site in operating a successful and profitable location. This role involves supervising the management team, ensuring safety, and managing various profit centers.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the management team and overall operations of the designated location
- Demonstrate a professional demeanor and inspire the team to do the same
- Build and maintain a strong, dynamic leadership team
- Identify and recruit management-level talent
- Review and advise on staffing levels
- Monitor key performance indicators and address customer complaints
- Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain accurate records
- Develop and implement programs to recognize outstanding customer service
- Lead the team in maintaining and safeguarding company assets
- Manage location operations within budget constraints
- Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws
- Forecast site results and achieve budgeted EBITDA
Requirements
- An inspirational leader with a proven track record of positive results
- A High School Diploma (or GED) with an Associate's or bachelor’s degree preferred
- At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role
- Proficient in planning and analytical skills to achieve positive financial results
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational understanding of POS software
- Maintain a valid driver’s license with appropriate insurance coverage and acceptable driving record
Qualifications
- Ability to perform non-management functions as needed
- Experience in restaurant brands management
- Completion of lead certification requirements
- Completion of required training within 90 days
