About the role
Amazing Lash Studio® is seeking a dynamic sales manager / operations manager to oversee sales and operations for our eyelash extension and eyebrow service studio. The ideal candidate will have experience in management, particularly as a sales manager, operations manager, or general manager, and possess strong personal sales abilities and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Drive rapid sales growth and activate systems to increase member retention.
- Keep Lash Stylist’s calendars full and create and execute creative ways to prospect and attract new leads to develop a flowing pipeline of first-time customers to convert each week.
- Lead a team in an organized and efficient way ensuring operations runs smoothly every day, every hour, every minute.
- Implement structure, policies, and procedures while following up effectively to coach in the moment, apply discipline, and ensure compliance.
- Cleanliness and state board hygiene standards to pass all compliance audits.
- Over-communicate and collaborate with owners to resolve any and all issues. Never allow owners to be blindsided or taken by surprise with adverse news.
- Breakdown and interpret analytics, reports, and provide expert advice, strategies, and solutions/innovations to accelerate the business and team.
- Actively lead and engage with both front of house sales and back of house service providers while guiding the morale and behavior of the team as a whole by maintaining high expectations.
Requirements
- Experience in management including but not limited to experience as a sales manager, operations manager, and/or general manager.
- Possesses powerful personal sales ability with a solid history of achieving monetary goals.
- Passionate about and loves selling (especially beauty services/products).
- Has excellent leadership skills; ability to lead a team in an organized and efficient way ensuring operations runs smoothly.
- Implement structure, policies, and procedures while following up effectively to coach in the moment, apply discipline, and ensure compliance.
- Natural team leader who is unafraid to run the show and take control of a spirited team and can handle being directly challenged by senior staff and able to positively redirect that energy.
- Customer Service oriented (ideally in the beauty, service or hospitality based industries).
- Ability to identify and problem solve, set expectations, goals, and delegate.
- Computer savvy and enjoys creating teambuilding social media posts.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills and exercises frequent and transparent communication.
- Possesses strong interpersonal skills and communicates with a high degree of confidence and competence.
- Excellent organizer and problem solver with strong project management skills.
- Able to work flexible days and hours; including nights, weekends, and holidays (Open Availability, Must be willing to close and work weekend hours).
- Competent trainer and motivator. A doer with a bias for action who also collaborates well with the business-owners.
- Always presents solutions to issues and exercises good judgment. Knows what to partner on and when to make an independent executive decision but always communicates either way.
- Highly collaborative and trainable. Receives direct feedback extremely well, highly coachable and professional.
- MindBody Software experience a plus (experience selling membership programs also a plus).
- Understands why image matters and always presents themselves in the most exemplary attire to set the example for the team and never has “Off” days in this regard. Adheres to and enforces dress code without exception to elevate the company image and client expectations.
