Responsibilities

  • Hands-on responsibility for multiple business operations, including retail store, fuel, restaurant, fresh kitchen, and truck care.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through restroom and shower cleanliness, facilities and equipment maintenance, and safety checks.
  • Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and merchandising standards.
  • Assist the General Manager with proper task execution and completion, schedule and cash integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
  • Understand financial reporting, including analyzing profit and loss statements, to capture and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Collaborate with managers on talent acquisition efforts.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in retail, travel stop, c-store, big box, grocery, or department store management.
  • 2+ years managing operations with an annual sales volume of $2+ million.
  • 2+ years affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements.
  • 2+ years supervising and training 5-10+ employees.
  • Intermediate-level computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

  • Ability to work various shifts, including days, afternoons, evenings, nights, occasional overnights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus.
  • Exceptional customer service, rapport-building, salesmanship, and managing operations for employee-vehicle deployment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
  • Effective teamwork skills.

Physical Demands

  • Regular talking and hearing.
  • Active involvement requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing.
  • Frequent lifting and moving of items over 75 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required.
