Responsibilities
- Work a minimum of 48 hours per week in a retail schedule
- Achieve personal sales goals
- Manage and assist the sales team, including new hires
- Provide training and set goals for the sales team
- Create an extraordinary experience for guests
- Support the store’s Management Team and fulfill their duties as needed
- Maintain great communication with the Management Team regarding individual and department performance
- Lead morning and afternoon huddle meetings with agendas focused on motivation, information, and education
- Drive sales, including all steps of the sales process
- Coach sales professionals one-on-one to improve the sales process
- Shadow sales professionals to ensure adherence to the sales process
- Identify and address weaknesses during sales interactions and provide immediate feedback
- Set individual goals for sales professionals based on store goals
- Maintain constant communication with sales professionals about their progress toward goals
- Demonstrate passion for team success and individual growth
- Learn all roles and functions within the store and operations
- Work with Corporate HR to build and maintain a fully staffed team
- Some travel required
- Develop proficiency in interpreting and acting on performance metrics ("live in the numbers")
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous experience in a customer satisfaction environment preferred
- Previous retail management or supervisory experience
- High energy, enthusiastic personality, and a positive attitude toward the retail sales environment
- Strong leadership with a team-first attitude and a high level of commitment and work ethic
- Reliable, accountable, and capable of holding others accountable
- Ability to multitask, communicate effectively, and manage time efficiently
- Willingness to accept a promotion at any location in the assigned region
