General Manager - 5038
About the role
At Einstein Bros. Bagels, we believe in the bagel and have been baking them fresh daily since 1995. Our General Managers oversee all aspects of the store with a “treat it like you own it” philosophy. Our stores operate on a one-shift model, opening as early as 4am for the first bake and closing at 2pm, allowing you to enjoy evenings with loved ones.
A day in the life includes ensuring the store is audit-ready, executing catering/mobile/in-store orders, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. During rushes, you’ll support the team in all positions, manage breaks, and drive positive customer survey results. After closing, you’ll handle end-of-day tasks like scheduling, ordering, inventory, and depositing daily revenue—all completed well before dinner.
We provide 5 weeks of training to prepare you for this hands-on leadership role. Successful candidates typically have 1-3 years of General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience in a restaurant setting. You’ll motivate and inspire the team while managing P&L analysis, food costs, labor targets, and talent development.
