Responsibilities
- Oversee all operations during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations
- Set the example by following all policies and procedures 100% of the time and ensuring your crew does the same
- Operate all equipment and stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler
- Prepare product and receive/process telephone orders
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
- Clean equipment and facility daily
- Manage staffing, cost controls, cash control, food management, scheduling, and adherence to standards
- Provide great customer service and maintain store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability
Skills
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Verbal communication with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and ability to make correct monetary change
- Motor coordination for rapid and accurate movements (e.g., using a computer keyboard or touch screen)
Work Conditions
Exposure to:
- Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks
- In-store temperatures ranging from 36°F in cooler to 90°F+ in some work areas, with sudden temperature changes
- Fumes from food odors and cornmeal dust
- Cramped quarters, including walk-in cooler
- Hot surfaces/tools (oven up to 500°F or higher)
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts

- Pizza sauce (30 lbs) from storage room to front of store
- Pizza dough trays (12 lbs per tray, carried three at a time over short distances)
- Pushing: Moving trays on dollies (stacks up to 24"-30", requiring up to 7.5 lbs of force)
- Climbing: Infrequent use of stairs or ladders to change prices, wash walls, or perform maintenance
- Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at pizza assembly station (30-45 seconds at a time, repeated continuously) and when stocking ingredients
- Crouching/Squatting: Occasionally to stock shelves or clean low areas
- Reaching: Continuously in all directions (up, down, forward) for tasks like turning oven controls, scooping ingredients, or answering phones
- Hand Tasks:
- Eye-hand coordination essential for continuous use of hands
- Frequent and forceful use of forearms/wrists for shaping pizza dough
- Manipulation of pizza peel, rolling cutter, and cardboard pizza boxes (frequent pinching)
- Grasping cans, phones, pizza cutters, pizza peels, and pizza boxes

Additional Requirements for Delivery Experts or Store Management
Responsibilities
- Deliver product by car and to customer doors
- Deliver flyers and door hangers
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards
- Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries
- Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within designated delivery area
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain (multi-story buildings, private homes) while carrying product
Physical Demands
- Carrying: Pizzas, sides, and beverages during deliveries
- Driving: Multiple deliveries per shift within a designated area
- Walking: Between store and delivery vehicle, and from vehicle to customer location
- Climbing: Up to five or more flights of stairs during deliveries
Work Conditions
- Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions during deliveries
