Location: Arden Hills Army Training Site, Arden Hills, MN

Full-time, regular position on the day shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM), Monday through Friday. No travel required.

About the role

Provide assigned facilities with custodial services, assist building maintenance, and support ground staff with sidewalk snow removal.

Responsibilities

  • Perform custodial maintenance and cleaning using state-approved cleaning agents safely and effectively.
  • Operate mechanical and physical plant equipment for building maintenance, custodial, and grounds-keeping operations.
  • Assist with snow removal operations.
  • Follow oral and written instructions related to assigned duties and job performance.
  • Use computer-based maintenance management systems.
  • Read and understand directions, operations manuals, operating instructions, and Material Safety Data Sheets.
  • Pass security requirements for network access on MN National Guard systems.
  • Work at other assigned facilities within the Metro area as required by mission.
  • Pass a criminal background check.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of building safety and custodial maintenance procedures.
  • Valid state driver’s license.
  • Ability to safely and effectively use grounds-keeping equipment.
  • Ability to follow directions, accept criticism, and work respectfully with coworkers, supervisors, and customers.
  • Ability to refrain from abusive, insubordinate, or violent behavior.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive experience performing facility custodial maintenance.
  • Experience performing snow removal operations.

Pay

$20.87 – $25.88 per hour.
