General Maintenance Worker

About the role

The Maintenance Worker III – General is a position in the Facilities Management department. The position focuses on general maintenance and the caregiver may be assigned to work in a variety of areas of focus. The Maintenance Worker III – General is able to work autonomously and with minimal supervision. They thoroughly understand safe work practices in a healthcare setting and can lead individuals or teams in accomplishing complex and difficult tasks. Location: Intermountain Health St George Regional Hospital, St George, Utah.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, and repairing damaged walls or floors.
• Assists with the installation, repair, and maintenance of hospital equipment and systems.
• Responds to emergency maintenance requests and provides immediate assistance to resolve the issue.
• Works under the direct supervision of a facilities management leader.
