Responsibilities
- Replacing a worn doorknob, oiling a squeaky hinge, or replacing a damaged floorboard.
- Changing burned-out light bulbs, filters in the air conditioning system, or replacing a hard-to-operate lock.
- Performing routine maintenance and preventive maintenance procedures on machinery and equipment, such as split systems, fan coils, light panels, and blowers.
- Handling basic repairs and maintenance, overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary, diagnosing mechanical issues, and correcting them.
- Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
- Using common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
- Using precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma.
- A minimum of 4 years of maintenance experience.
- Preferred qualifications include 4 or more years of custodial experience, experience in using power tools and equipment, vocational certification in a trade, and utility vehicle usage.
