About the role
Join our vibrant team at Tapestry Senior Living of Moon, where you’ll make a daily impact in the lives of our residents.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems, equipment, and grounds.
- Inspect lighting, HVAC units, plumbing, safety equipment, and other areas regularly.
- Absorb minor repairs and assist with resident moves.
- Maintain lawns, landscaping, outdoor areas, and community vehicles.
- Troubleshoot maintenance problems and coordinate with vendors for complex repairs.
- Ensure maintenance coverage for after-hours emergencies.
Requirements
- Prior experience in building maintenance (assisted living experience preferred).
- Knowledge of:
- Plumbing: commodes, fixtures, drains, heaters, dishwashers, ice machines.
- Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC): operation/mechanics of heat pumps, refrigeration systems.
- Electrical systems: wiring, voltage, amperage.
- Mechanics: design and operation of engines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors.

Pay
$18/hr + credit given for experience.
Schedule
Monday-Friday | 7:30am-4:00pm
