General Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform or assist in performing general maintenance and repairs throughout campus.
• Aid Plant Manager in preparation of work estimates, and ordering necessary supplies.
• Complete all work assigned in an organized and timely manner.
• Maintain communication with supervisors about work order status.
• Assist with any inclement weather issues that should occur.
• Assist in setting up for and taking down from academic, athletic, and other special events.
• Assist others in moving of furniture, equipment, and any other moving needs as required.
• Requires some weekend work.
• Participate in “on call” service rotation.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Maintenance experience required
• Electrical experience a plus

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• Ability to successfully lead and work with others
