General Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

A national maintenance and construction firm is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to service full-time commercial construction projects across the United States. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and plumbing, with experience in various maintenance tasks.

Job Requirements

• Proficient in carpentry, including partition framing, installation of basic cabinetry/countertops, and installation of doors/windows (both interior and exterior)
• Experience with plumbing, including replacement/installation of sinks, faucets, toilets, and basic drainage/water lines (licensed plumbers encouraged to apply)
• Knowledge of refrigeration, PM service calls, and commercial renovations/buildouts
• Basic computer skills and ability to follow OSHA requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and work overtime/overnight shifts as needed
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction or commercial maintenance
• Supply of basic construction hand tools
