About the Role
Responsible for performing non-complex maintenance and repairs on a variety of routine manufacturing equipment and operations. Assists in maintaining the facility grounds and serves as a backup for other maintenance personnel on projects as required.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs involving mechanical equipment, including troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with motor starters, proximity switches, photo-eyes, contactors, and relays using root cause analysis principles.
- Respond to work order requests promptly and close tickets upon completion.
- Follow the preventive maintenance schedule for manufacturing equipment.
- Maintain neat and accurate repair records, including walk-throughs and daily equipment inspections.
- Demonstrate professionalism and self-motivation while performing routine duties and assisting others, including outside vendors.
- Identify and troubleshoot sources of mechanical failure and make recommendations for future improvements.
- Maintain an orderly inventory of spare parts.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure safety and quality.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to operate company vehicles and mobile equipment such as forklifts, reach forks, and scissor lifts.
- Basic computer skills using Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and company guidelines.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to communicate effectively with groups of customers or employees.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and use of measuring tools.
- Ability to travel occasionally between plants for assistance, projects, or training.
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to walk; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk or hear.
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Pay
$29–$31 hourly wage.
