About the role

Join our Engineering team at Hyatt Regency DFW, conveniently located across from Terminal C at DFW International Airport. As one of Hyatt's premier hotels, our property features 811 guestrooms and over 92,000 square feet of meeting and event space, serving guests from around the world every day.

Responsibilities

• Performing general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, public spaces, meeting rooms, and back-of-house areas
• Completing preventative maintenance tasks to preserve the quality and appearance of the hotel
• Troubleshooting and repairing basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical, kitchen, and laundry equipment
• Responding promptly to service requests and maintenance concerns
• Utilizing hand tools, power tools, and mobile devices to complete work orders
• Supporting the Engineering team in maintaining Hyatt's high standards of safety and guest satisfaction

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hotel, apartment, or building maintenance experience
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, or HVAC systems
• Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Basic computer skills and the ability to navigate handheld devices or work-order systems
