General Maintenance Mechanic B - Full Time (Tropicana Atlantic City)

Responsibilities

• Maintains a positive attitude and works collaboratively with colleagues within the department and across other departments.
• Speaks positively about the company, co-workers, and guests.
• Responds to routine maintenance calls as required.
• Completes duties as assigned or by regular Preventive Maintenance schedule within the scope of the General Maintenance shop.
• Returns incomplete work service requests to office with an explanation for incompletion.
• Adheres to safe employee practices.
• Assists with training of the Apprentice Engineer.
• Lifts and moves tools and parts as related to applicable trade.
• Prepares work area to include movement of furniture/obstructions.
• Keeps Lead informed of inventory of all materials and equipment necessary to perform job duties.
• Completes special assignments for management as requested.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• Trade school training or approved apprenticeship program mandatory.
• A minimum of two years’ experience as a Journeyman Electrician, Plumber, HVAC, Mechanic, Ground Support, Maintenance, and Machinist.
• Ability to read and evaluate blueprints as related to applicable trade.
• Valid New Jersey driver's license. CER License is required.

Pay

$28.78 per hour
