General Maintenance Assistant
Responsibilities
- Aids residents with moving activities, such as transporting furniture and boxed belongings.
- Visits vacant units to assess and resolve issues, including cleaning, painting, and lawn maintenance.
- Maintains lawns and shrubbery, performing tasks like watering, weeding, mowing, and snow removal.
- Performs repairs on malfunctioning facility equipment, addressing issues like clogged drains, leaky faucets, and broken appliances.
Requirements
- Capable of operating various hand tools and machinery, including drills, vacuum cleaners, mowers, and snow blowers.
- Able to understand and empathize with the needs of residents and colleagues.
- Ability to work under emergency and weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license with a clean record.
- Fluency in English for safe and efficient job performance.
Pay & Benefits
- Starting pay at $19.00 per hour, with potential for raises based on experience.
