Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of examiners for public entity general liability claims
- Monitor workload and provide training to team members
- Provide technical and jurisdictional direction to examiner reports on claims adjudication
- Compile and analyze management reports, taking appropriate action
- Perform quality reviews on claims in compliance with audit requirements and standards
- Act as a second-level appeal for client and claimant issues regarding specific claims, procedural issues, or special requests
- Maintain a diary on claims, especially complex or high-exposure cases

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- Five (5) years of general liability claims experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, including two (2) years of claims supervisor experience
- Licenses as required for the line of business
- Professional certifications as applicable to the line of business preferred
