General Liability Claims Adjuster

About the role

Manage a portfolio of complex general liability claims from coverage review through resolution. Evaluate liability, damages, and coverage across a wide range of exposures including product, premises, construction, and environmental.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with defense counsel on litigation strategy and attend mediations/settlement discussions as needed
• Work closely with internal underwriting and actuarial teams to assess trends and identify risk patterns
• Maintain high-quality file documentation, internal reporting, and timely decision-making
• Participate in internal claims meetings and roundtables with senior leadership
• Deliver excellent claims service while driving appropriate file outcomes and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Act as a technical resource within the team and contribute to a culture of excellence and accountability
