About the role
The General Ledger Accountant Lead position is responsible for overseeing the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Manage the reconciliation of accounts and prepare monthly reports.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and provide financial insights.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- CPA certification preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Skills
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
- Experience with general ledger systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
