General Labor-Steel Facility

Cardinal Staffing is seeking motivated and dependable General Laborers for a steel manufacturing facility in New Boston, MI. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading employer in the area offering weekly pay, competitive wages, and the potential for full-time hire after 90 days based on attendance and performance.

Responsibilities

• Pull finished parts off laser machines
• Assist Steel Slitters with slitting sheet metal to customer-specified sizes
• Band steel coils and prepare materials for shipment
• Assist shear operators and support production team as needed
• Inspect materials for defects while moving along the production line
• Set up and prepare skids for finished product
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation to ensure a safe working environment
• Follow all company safety standards and procedures
• Work overtime when required due to increased production demands

Requirements

• Must provide an updated resume reflecting recent work history
• Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
• Steel toe boots/shoes required
• Must be able to read and speak English fluently
• Strong attention to detail for defect inspection
• Team-oriented with the ability to work well with others
• Excellent attendance and stable work history required
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment

Pay

$17.40 per hour

Schedule

• 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Monday-Friday)
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM (Monday-Friday)
