General Labor/Packaging

Cardinal Staffing is seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join our AM Glaze Department team. This position is primarily responsible for packaging finished meat products while maintaining quality standards, food safety requirements, and production goals in a refrigerated environment.

Responsibilities

• Package finished meat products according to company specifications and customer requirements.
• Inspect products for quality, appearance, and proper labeling before packaging.
• Apply labels, date codes, and packaging materials accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with food safety standards.
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with preparing products for shipment and storage.
• Work efficiently to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
• Report quality concerns, damaged products, or equipment issues to supervisors.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform additional production and packaging duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing, packaging, or food production experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a cold environment (approximately 35°F) for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions throughout a 10-hour shift.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Work Environment

• Refrigerated food production facility maintained at approximately 35°F.
• Fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Required use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and food safety attire.

Schedule

Tuesday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Pay

$15.00 per hour
