Hourly pay: $17.05 for 1st shift; 2nd shift receives an additional $2.00 per hour shift differential.
Schedule
- 1st shift: approximately 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- 2nd shift: approximately 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM (varies by department)
- Must be available for overtime, weekends, and holidays as production requires
Responsibilities
- Perform entry-level, non-skilled general labor tasks
- Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to Tyson policies and procedures
- Work in any department of the processing facility
- Push, pull, carry, or lift 50+ pounds (some positions)
- Work in fast-paced environments with repetitive motion
- Stand for 8 to 10 hours per day
- Climb stairs to access work areas
- Work in damp, cold, or hot environments
- Use hands and arms above shoulder level
- Wear required PPE: ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net, and beard guard
Requirements
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Rehires are subject to a 1-year wait period
- Candidates who have worked for Tyson Foods or affiliates 3 or more times are not eligible for rehire
