General Labor Harvest or Processing Pasco Plant (September)

About the role

This position could work in any position of the Processing or Harvest departments. The Team Member must be willing to complete all required training for the job and perform any other duties as assigned.

Physical demands

• Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 40 pounds
• Standing 8–10 hours per day
• Work in extreme cold and wet environments (33–49°F) in Processing
• Work in extreme hot, wet, and humid environments (80–100°F) in Harvest

Processing department responsibilities

• Work around meat environment including blood, fat, bones, and other meat products
• Use knives and hooks to bone out or trim product
• Operate powered equipment such as saws, whizard knives, or skinner machines
• Bag and box product in packaging roles

Harvest department responsibilities

• Work around meat environment including blood, fat, bones, hair, and other cattle products
• Use knives and hooks to remove hides and trim large pieces of product
• Operate powered equipment such as saws or air knives
• Operate heavy pieces of equipment

Schedule

• Available to work A Shift 5:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday including Saturdays
• Available for overtime

Requirements

• Proof of authorization to work legally in the United States
• Pass a urinalysis screening as part of the post-offer health assessment

Pay

$22.35 per hour; additional compensation may be available based on shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonuses.
