About the role

The General Laborer role supports Tropicana Brands Group's Supply Chain team. Key responsibilities include drum preparations and checks, cleaning, sanitation, material handling, and verifying quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs activities such as drum preparations and checks, cleaning, sanitation, material handling, etc.
• Verifies conformance to quality standards (raw storage and transportation conditions)
• Participates in daily activities such as assisting with the cycle counts and physical inventories
• Maintains good manufacturing practices, housekeeping standards and safety precautions
• Performs duties and responsibilities within the guidelines of plant’s programs and initiatives i.e., SFTPM
• All other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Experience in a manufacturing facility, food production preferred
• Knowledge of basic math and problem solving
• Able to utilize manufacturing software
• Able to listen, understand and communicate written and verbal information and ideas
• Able to perform work within established guidelines and in a safe manner
• Able to work independently and in teams
• Able to obtain forklift certification

Foundational Ingredients

• Location: City of Industry, CA surrounding area or willing to relocate for the duration of employment
• Full-time onsite at the manufacturing facility required
• Able to perform physical tasks for the duration of the shift, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting/moving items weighing 50 pounds or more
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future

Pay

The hourly pay for this position is $19.17.
