About the role
The General Laborer position at International Paper's Moses Lake Box Plant is responsible for performing various tasks related to counting and stacking finished product, reading factory orders, utilizing basic shop math, inspecting, and accurately completing quality and administrative documents.
Responsibilities
- Counting and stacking finished product
- Reading factory orders
- Accurately reading gauges and other test equipment
- Utilizing basic shop math, inspecting
- Accurately completing quality and administrative documents and following directions
- Assigned to perform clean-up functions such as blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, as well as picking up and shredding scrap
- Enforcing all product safety policies
Requirements
- Counting and stacking finished product
- Reading factory orders
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience in a similar role preferred
