Job Description

This General Laborer is an entry‑level position performing manual labor in various departments as shop load and demand dictate.

• Perform various general laborer duties as needed, including light assembly, simple machine operation, packaging, shipping and receiving.
• Willingness to cross‑train and perform other job tasks when necessary.
• Follow and maintain strict adherence to safety regulations; maintain a safe work area.
• Follow all clean‑up and housekeeping procedures.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Able to work within a team environment and willing to follow direction.
• Possess a positive, “can do” attitude.
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform precise measurements using a tape measure.

Education And Experience

High School diploma or GED required.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to stand, talk or hear for 1 to 10 hours a day.
• Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
• Frequently required to walk, squat/kneel, bend/stoop, twist/turn, grasp and reach overhead and outward.
• Required to lift boxes and other materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a 55‑90 °F environment.
• Work in a fast‑paced industrial environment wearing vision protection, hearing protection, steel‑toed shoes and other appropriate protective clothing.
