Responsibilities
- Performs all assignments in accordance with safety specifications, instructions, and requirements
- Demonstrates ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required time
- Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space
- Reports all production waste to Supervisor
- Responsible for safety and quality throughout production
- Notifies a Supervisor when stepping off the line to ensure safety and quality standards are maintained
- Follows all company policies and procedures
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Understand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training
- Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions
- Troubleshoot problems and report issues
- Work well in team environment
- Able to work up to 8-12 hours per shift
- Able to lift container of up to 35 lbs over shoulders
- Able to use hands and fingers to perform job function
- Able to stoop, kneel, bend and climb
- Able to lift up to 35 lbs
About the Role
Supports plant production needs for daily operation, changeovers, and outbound shipments. Primarily responsible for the receipt of drums as they are dispersed from the production machines. Employees in this role will receive a plastic drum weighing up to 20 lbs with their arms and upper body and transfer it to a worktable placed across from the production machine. Employees will then utilize a knife/blade and hammer to remove excess plastic from top and bottom of container. Employee must be able to properly and safely maneuver the drum as it is received, turned on its sides, picked up and transferred to a pallet. Drums can measure 3.5 feet in length and require upper body mobility to receive, transfer, turn, and stack containers safely and without injury. The employee is responsible for correctly following standards of quality and specifications in the machine. Needs to follow SOP to properly, safely and accurately follow all steps from when the container is dispersed until it is palletized. Primarily responsible for assisting in the packaging of products for internal and external use and assisting in changeover with other production teammates.

Pay
$21.76 - plus $1.00 shift differential. Shift differential will take effect after training is complete.
