P1 Construction, LLC. is seeking a Safety Specialist for the Lawrence, KS office. Join our P1 Team!
Responsibilities
- Responsible for safety training, safety shop and jobsite audits, contractor meetings, and day-to-day oversight of construction safety operations.
- Ensure safety for all manufacturing shops and construction in Lawrence and surrounding areas.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Bachelor's degree in Safety and Health is preferred.
- Experience: Must have at least 5 years of full-time work experience in a safety role in general industry.
- OHST (Occupational Hygiene and Safety Technician) Certification is preferred.
- Must be able to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Must be able to satisfactorily pass a motor vehicle record check.
- Must be able to meet P1 qualifications to operate a vehicle on company business.
- Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Must have access to drive a well maintained vehicle. Must have up to date registration with the local Department of Motor Vehicles. Both the candidate and the vehicle must be currently covered on a personal insurance policy.
