Description

The Production Worker at Smurfit Westrock is responsible for performing a variety of tasks in the manufacturing areas, including conducting quality checks, setting up materials, and maintaining a clean workspace. Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring all tooling for the machine is on hand
• Assisting the machine operator and assistant operator with setups and jam-ups
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace

Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should have:

• A high school diploma or GED
• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• A strong desire to advance within the industry
• Familiarity with corrugated box manufacturing and specific equipment such as Flexo, Gluers, Rotaries, Clamp Trucks, and Forklifts
• Flexibility to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts, including weekends
• Basic math skills

Pay and Schedule

The Production Worker earns a base pay of $22.50 per hour.

Schedule

The Production Worker works 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, with flexibility to work overtime, including weekends.
