General Helper

About the role

We are seeking a General Helper to join our 3rd shift manufacturing team. This position supports our Aerospace business and involves assisting with the development and setups in the process of forming tubes, pipes, cones, rings, swaging, rounding, and straightening.

Responsibilities

• Absorb and execute necessary layouts on parts, working from shop travelers, engineering drawings, and verbal/written instructions.
• Use shop trigonometry to calculate blank sizes where necessary to produce parts.
• Work to close tolerances and assist with other department's manufacturing needs.
• Assist with performing the necessary maintenance on equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
• Train on learning new processes and procedures.
• Multi-task and prioritize workday/projects independently.
• Communicate effectively and have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred, with experience in aerospace manufacturing a plus.
• Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workday/projects independently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Experience/Requirements

Pay

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour (based on experience)
