Responsibilities
- Manages job site safety, pre-task plan compliance, safety equipment on job sites, and safety equipment expenses on the job site.
- Manages high-risk activities requiring safety upper management involvement.
- Manages job site productivity goals.
- Manages crew productivity and daily quantity tracking.
- Assigns tasks and directs work to ensure project goals are met safely and efficiently.
- Affirms individuals are meeting productivity goals.
- Manages project layout, trade coordination, project quality control.
- Oversees tool and rental expenses on projects.
- Manages daily reports on job sites being completed, documentation (RFIs, drawings updates, submittals) and, job site photo documentation.
- Manages documentation on all risk management issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certified in OSHA 30.
- Knowledge of Veregy’s services and processes.
- Knowledge of various operating systems, software products (e.g. MS Office, etc.).
- Knowledge in all aspects of trade related materials, components, equipment, systems methods of installation, safety procedures, safe work practices, sizing and other calculations, use of hand and power tools.
- Knowledge in use of NEC (National Electrical Code) book as reference material in performing or directing the performance of work.
- Ability to read and accurately interpret project related drawings and documentation including plans, specifications, drawings, schematics, diagrams, sketches, and blueprints to ensure proper installation means and methods.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time / workload.
- Ability to effectively respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and staff.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management and staff.
- Ability to speak and communicate effectively before customers and staff.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and tactfully negotiate priority with end users.
- Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed.
