Job Functions
- Must have experience running electrical projects valued up to $10 million.
- Effectively and strategically plan work, schedule manpower and tasks to minimize labor costs, order material and equipment ahead of scheduled installations, and manage tools.
- Must be able to read and understand drawings, submittals, specifications, and BIM detailing.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Stay up to date with changing technology, Loenbro business systems, electrical codes, and safety practices.
- Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Test electrical systems using appropriate tools to identify issues, ensure system safety, and confirm compatibility.
- Document actions, testing results, observations, final diagnoses, and steps taken to resolve issues for each project or situation.
- Determine necessary steps to assess and troubleshoot electrical situations using testing devices, blueprints, and maps.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements; report any violations of policies, procedures, or guidelines to a supervisor.
- Use ladders, scaffolding, and lifts to work on electrical systems in commercial properties.
- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure they remain in good condition and safe for use.
- Maintain general housekeeping and organization of the work area.
- Bend conduits ranging from ½″ to 4″.
- Utilize required tools and equipment for each specific task as needed.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in the electrical trade
- Ability to develop and manage construction schedules for large-scale projects and adjust as needed
- Ability to contribute to installations or direct others through the installation and troubleshooting process
- Ability to coordinate manpower and resource needs effectively
- Ability to coordinate or place material orders following price comparisons
- Maintain compliance with company, state, and OSHA safety standards
