Responsibilities
- Reports to the Workforce Quality and Project Manager, relays progress reports and alerts them of any issues regarding their crew's scope.
- Works closely with project manager and other trades, oversee the assigned scope, including the management of material and labor.
- Accountable for enforcing and promoting high quality and safety standards while supervising, mentoring and motivating Guarantee electricians.
- Supervise, direct, and train crews on proper installation techniques and best practices to ensure timely and quality completion of projects.
- Review and coordinate plans, specifications, scope of work, shop drawings, manufacturer cut sheets and samples.
- Keep an orderly and clean job site and demonstrate a customer focused attitude at all times.
- Utilize technology such as company-provided iPad and smartphone to ensure the job gets done on time and exceeds customer expectations.
- Attend training sessions as required to learn new processes, product training, safety practices, and other sessions as determined by leadership.
- Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures.
- Other duties as assigned by employer.
Requirements
- Associated with Local 68 in Denver (or willing to become associated).
- Must have an active journeyman or master electrician license.
- Proficient knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes and construction safety requirements.
- Hospital / Healthcare experience is a plus.
- Progressive electrical leader who enjoys using technology and desires a clear career path.
- Skilled field supervisor with experience managing a scope and running multimillion dollar projects for an electrical contractor.
- Experience leading crews.
- Must have at least basic computer and writing skills.
- Demonstrate and uphold all of Guarantee Electrical Company's core values, which include collaboration, communication, consistency, and character.
- Demonstrate strong working knowledge of OSHA standards related to solar installations and immediately correct any practices that are outside of standards.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with crew and organization to think critically and solve problems with a solution-oriented approach.
