General Contractor Project Supervisor

About the role

This full-time, on-site General Contractor Project Supervisor role is based in La Marque, with most projects within a 50-mile radius of League City, TX. The Project Supervisor oversees day-to-day construction activities, including coordinating subcontractors, managing schedules, monitoring job site safety, and ensuring work meets quality standards and building codes.

• Track project progress
• Resolve issues
• Communicate regularly with project owners and internal stakeholders
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Manage change orders
• Help control project costs

The position requires frequent on-site presence, active supervision of crews, and hands-on problem solving.

Requirements

• Demonstrated skills in General Contracting and Renovation, with experience overseeing multiple trades and project phases
• Strong Project Management abilities, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating subcontractors and suppliers
• Practical experience in Construction and Construction Management, with solid knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and inspection processes
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and contracts
• Proficient in using project management software, email, and basic office applications for reporting and documentation
• Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide crews, resolve conflicts, and work collaboratively with stakeholders
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant experience in general contracting or construction supervision; trade certifications or a degree in construction management or a related field are beneficial
• Valid Texas Driver’s License and dependable transportation
• Ability to pass background screening verification, Transportation Worker Identification Credential Screening (TWIC), and drug testing
• Minimum of 5 years supervisory/foreman experience preferred
