About the role
Seneca Companies, Inc., an OWL Services Affiliated Company, seeks a Project Coordinator to join their team. OWL Services is a premier sales, installation, program management, and service provider to various industries across the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Provides organization and workflow that assists Project Managers, Branch Managers, and Operational Managers in meeting or exceeding goals.
- Ensures project accuracy and completeness in a time-driven environment, supporting materials, labor, subcontractors, and accurate billing.
- Generates reports and prepares and monitors invoices and expense reports.
- Performs a variety of administrative functions, including updates to records, tools, and resources used by others.
- Improves systems and processes by making continuous improvements to tracking project data, billing customers, paying employees, vendors, merchants, and others.
- Participates on project teams, such as software upgrade teams, training project teams, and other committees, task forces, and teams driving change and improvement.
- Maintains files and records, including electronic and paper records of customer, sales, asset, resource, or personnel data.
- Processes payment and invoice, entering information into business systems aiding in billing and assisting in preparing and modifying invoices.
Qualifications
- Requires a high school diploma. Additional course work or business training in accounting or business, or equivalent experience, is preferred.
- One to three years of experience in billing, invoicing, project management, or accounting is required.
- No licenses or certifications are required, but candidates with PMP course completions or certification are preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, with an emphasis in Excel, are necessary.
- Strong record-keeping and organizational skills are essential.
- Excellent computer skills, attention to detail, listening, and communication skills are required.
- A professional demeanor and ability to lead teams is important.
- Ability to accomplish duties using appropriate computer and general office equipment is necessary.
