ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• High Dusting: Using a treated high duster, clean surfaces above shoulder height.
• Cleaning the High Duster: Gently brush into service cart.
• Sanitizing/Spot Cleaning: Use germicidal solution to clean surfaces below shoulder height.
• Removing Germs: Clean doorknobs, walls, and windows using proper solutions.
• Bathroom Cleaning: Use germicidal solution to clean various bathroom surfaces.
• Trash Can Management: Empty and clean trash cans, refill soap and paper dispensers.
• Floor Dusting/Vacuuming: Dust mop and vacuum rooms, paying special attention to under furniture and in restrooms.
• Outside Areas: Clean sidewalks, flower beds, curb lines, and public areas.
• Food Court: Clean tables, chairs, and trash cans, and sanitize using a tray power washer.
• Customer Relations and Service: Knock on doors before entering, answer questions courteously, and report issues to supervisor.
• Physical Demands: Perform tasks involving walking, standing, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, twisting, balancing, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, grasping, fingering, and overhead reaching.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of basic janitorial operations and equipment.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Effective communication skills.
• Operate and interpret instructions for cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain physical condition for assigned duties.
