ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• High Dusting: Using a treated high duster, clean surfaces above shoulder height.
• Cleaning the High Duster: Gently brush into service cart.
• Sanitizing/Spot Cleaning: Use germicidal solution to clean surfaces below shoulder height.
• Using proper solution to clean doorknobs, walls, and windows.
• Bathroom Cleaning: Wipe down surfaces, refill soap and paper dispensers, empty trash cans.
• Floor Dusting/Vacuuming: Dust mop and vacuum, paying attention to under furniture and trash.
• Grounds Care: Clean and check outside areas, including ash urns, trash cans, sidewalks, flower beds, and curb line.
• Food Court: Clean tables, sanitize, and empty trash cans; stack clean trays.
• Customer Relations and Service: Knock on doors, answer questions, report issues, and maintain a clean appearance.
• Other Duties: Perform tasks such as floor care, carpet extraction, and floor sanitization as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of basic janitorial operations, methods, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Basic safe work practices and knowledge of toxic and non-toxic chemicals.
• Operate and interpret instructions for cleaning equipment and chemical labels.
• Maintain physical condition for assigned duties, including lifting, carrying, and reaching.
