ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• High Dusting: Using a treated high duster, clean surfaces above shoulder height.
• Sanitizing/Spot Cleaning: Use a germicidal solution to clean surfaces below shoulder height.
• Bathroom Cleaning: Clean and sanitize toilets, soap and paper dispensers, and empty trash cans.
• Floor Dusting/Vacuuming: Dust mop and vacuum rooms, paying special attention to under furniture and near doors.
• Grounds Care: Clean outside areas, including sidewalks, flower beds, and parking lots.
• Customer Relations and Service: Knock on doors before entering, answer questions courteously, and report issues to supervisor.
• Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned, such as floor care, carpet extraction, and floor buffing.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of basic janitorial operations, methods, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Communication skills to interact with co-workers and supervisors.
• Physical ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs., operate equipment, and perform various cleaning tasks.
