ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• High Dusting: Using a treated high duster, clean surfaces above shoulder height.
• Sanitizing / Spot Cleaning: Use a germicidal solution to clean surfaces below shoulder height.
• Bathroom Cleaning: Wipe down surfaces, clean toilets, check and refill soap and paper dispensers.
• Trash Cans: Empty and clean trash cans, including refilling liners.
• Floor Dusting/Vacuuming: Dust mop and vacuum rooms, paying special attention to under furniture and near doors.
• Grounds Care: Clean sidewalks, flower beds, and curb lines; empty ash urns and trash cans.
• Food Court: Clean tables, sanitize, and stack clean trays; empty and clean trash cans.
• Floor Sanitizing: Use germicidal solution to sanitize floors, paying special attention to under furniture and behind doors.
• Customer Relations and Service: Knock on doors before entering, answer questions courteously, and report issues to supervisor.
• Inspection: Review and correct furniture placement after cleaning.
• Other Duties: Perform tasks such as floor care, carpet extraction, and floor waxing as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of basic janitorial operations, methods, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to operate and interpret instructions for cleaning chemicals.
• Physical ability to perform assigned duties, including walking, standing, lifting, carrying, operating equipment, and reaching.
