About the role

Join the nationally recognized CHI Health Heart Institute and Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska as our General Cardiologist. You will become part of a highly collaborative cardiovascular team dedicated to advancing clinical excellence, research, innovation, and medical education while delivering exceptional care to patients throughout the region.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a broad spectrum of cardiovascular conditions
  • Perform and interpret advanced cardiovascular imaging and diagnostic studies
  • Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiology services
  • Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons, interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary care teams
  • Participate in the continued growth and development of a nationally recognized cardiovascular program
  • Utilize innovative technologies and evidence-based treatment approaches to optimize patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with CommonSpirit Health service line partners on clinical research initiatives, quality improvement projects, and best practice sharing
  • Teach and mentor fellows, residents, and medical students through Creighton University School of Medicine
  • Contribute to a culture of academic excellence, innovation, and patient-centered care

Requirements

  • American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Nebraska

Pay

The posted compensation range is $630,000 - $640,000/year, which is a reasonable estimate based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit Health may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
