General Cardiology Faculty
About the role
Join the nationally recognized CHI Health Heart Institute and Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska as our General Cardiologist. You will become part of a highly collaborative cardiovascular team dedicated to advancing clinical excellence, research, innovation, and medical education.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a broad spectrum of cardiovascular conditions
- Perform and interpret advanced cardiovascular imaging and diagnostic studies
- Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiology services
- Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons, interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary care teams
- Participate in the continued growth and development of a nationally recognized cardiovascular program
- Utilize innovative technologies and evidence-based treatment approaches to optimize patient outcomes
- Collaborate with CommonSpirit Health service line partners on clinical research initiatives, quality improvement projects, and best practice sharing
- Teach and mentor fellows, residents, and medical students through Creighton University School of Medicine
- Contribute to a culture of academic excellence, innovation, and patient-centered care
Requirements
- American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
- Valid and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Nebraska

Pay
The posted compensation range of $630,000 - $640,000 /year is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
