General Assembler - E Shift, shift hours , 8am - 8pm
About the role
Location: Sumter, SC. Duration: 12 months. Hours per week: 40. Employment type: Contract on W2 (US Citizens or Green Card holders only). Client: Medical Device Company. Job Category: Industrial. Level: Entry‑Level. Note: An eye exam is required contingent upon hire; the role requires 20/30 vision with or without corrective lenses and/or successful completion of a color vision exam.
Responsibilities
Performs any combination of tasks involved in the fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing and packaging of medical devices; sets up, operates, performs maintenance on and troubleshoots equipment; may conduct quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with quality specifications; works within clearly defined SOPs and/or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Zero to one year of manufacturing assembly experience.
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods; occasionally lift or move at least 50 pounds.
