General Affairs Supervisor(Korean Bilingual)
About the Role
This position oversees General Affairs operations and administrative services to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-organized workplace at Hanwha Philly Shipyard. The role involves developing and improving policies, managing facilities, coordinating corporate real estate activities, and supporting expatriate employees throughout their assignment lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all Hanwha Philly Shipyard quality and safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve General Affairs policies, procedures, and administrative processes.
- Manage day-to-day General Affairs operations and administrative services.
- Oversee office space, facilities, and workshop amenities, including maintenance, office assignments, and facility improvements.
- Plan and coordinate office expansion, workplace renovations, and facility-related projects.
- Manage corporate real estate activities, including office acquisition, leasing, renewal, and landlord relationships.
- Coordinate relocation, housing, transportation, and administrative support for expatriates and assignees.
- Manage company shuttle bus operations and transportation-related administrative services.
- Oversee procurement, inventory, and lifecycle management of General Affairs assets, office equipment, furniture, and supplies.
- Coordinate executive protocols, VIP visits, corporate events, and other company functions requiring administrative support.
- Manage contracts and relationships with external vendors and service providers.
- Coordinate with Hanwha Ocean headquarters on expatriate support policies and General Affairs initiatives.
- Monitor General Affairs budgets and administrative expenses, identifying opportunities for efficiency and cost improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to provide integrated administrative support.
- Prepare reports, maintain administrative records, and provide operational updates to management.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of General Affairs operations, workplace administration, and facility management.
- Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to develop and improve administrative processes.
- Hands-on, proactive, and customer-focused mindset.
- Willingness and ability to work as a team member.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Korean bilingual skills preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in General Affairs, Corporate Administration, or Facilities Management.
- Experience supporting workplace operations, facility management, and administrative services in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
- Experience coordinating expatriate and assignee relocation and corporate administrative support preferred.
- Experience managing vendors, service contracts, and office operations.
Work Environment
Environmental exposures are similar to those found in most heavy industrial settings and may include noise, heat, cold, vibration, dust, fumes, smoke, and exposure to inclement weather conditions. Hanwha Philly Shipyard is a tobacco-free facility.
Physical Demands

Schedule
This is an onsite, full-time position. Standard days and hours of work vary by department and are determined by department schedules.
Supervisory Responsibility
This role oversees the HR Department.
