General Accounting Analyst

About the role

The General Accounting Analyst will assist in managing all accounting functions for US and EMEA offices. Responsibilities include gathering and reviewing all data to provide timely and accurate financial data for reporting, analysis, and budget comparisons. The analyst will report directly to the Senior Finance and Accounting Manager and participate in driving process improvements and policies as the company continues to grow.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and research unusual activity and/or fluctuations
• Responsible for revenue schedules
• Lead EMEA statutory audit
• Ensure that all transactions are accurately posted in the general ledger
• Ensure a timely and correct Month End Close and Reporting cycle, within tight deadlines
• Key member in determining process improvement, leading efforts to create SOP documents
• Assist with Working Capital goals
• Assist with various tax filings and ad-hoc projects
• Prepare miscellaneous ad-hoc reports
• Prepare journal entries in accordance with accrual basis accounting, evaluating underlying support

Requirements

• BS in Accounting required
• Prefer 5 years of experience
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 revenue standards
• SaaS experience a plus
• Expert level of Excel skills
• Experience in Hyperion/Essbase a plus
• Independent thinker and self-starter
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Occasional extended hours and travel required
• Good communication skills for interacting with the team
• Good time management skills

Pay

The salary range for this position is $61,500 – $102,700.

Benefits

This position is eligible for a bonus as part of the total compensation package.
