GE Vernova WIND Project Management - Internship 2027

About the role

Within GE Vernova Wind’s Project Management organization, four internships are available across critical phases of wind farm delivery. Each internship is scoped to one of the following areas:

Execution Phase (Construction & Procurement)

• Logistics & Supply Chain Coordinator Intern: Track delivery schedules for wind turbine components (blades, towers, nacelles) to align with construction crew availability.
• Subcontractor Management Intern: Assist the Project Manager by reviewing daily field reports, tracking contractor hours, and verifying adherence to safety and quality protocols across civil, electrical, and installation contractors.

Project Closeout & Handover

• Quality Assurance (QA) Documentation Intern: Compile the “as-built” documentation package by reviewing receiving documents, test results, certification documents, and commissioning reports to deliver a completed, compliant asset to the owner or operator.
• Punch List Coordinator: Identify, track, and close out punch list items—minor defects or unfinished tasks remaining after major construction—to ensure the project is fully finished before final payment milestones.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited university.
• Eligible majors: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or related.

Qualifications

• Preferred GPA of 3.2/4.0 overall or higher.
• Passion for the wind energy industry, engineering, and dedication to a career in technology.
• Proven scholastic achievements, proactive leadership skills, and prior intern, co-op, or research experience in design engineering or manufacturing.
• Highly motivated, self-starter, energetic, positive individual who adapts to changing environments.
• Structured approach to problem solving and learning agility.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical problems clearly and simply.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in project teams in an international environment.

Schedule

May 2027 to August 2026 (Summer).

Pay

The pay range for this position is $1,000–$2,000 USD weekly. The specific pay offered may be influenced by the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
